There is an awesome product called "The Furminator" that is basically a de-shedding brush. I work at a vet hospital and our groomer offers furminating and it absolutely works wonders! I have 3 cats and they shed all over too… I’ve never had them furminated but it has worked for everyone i’ve talked to. Hope this helps!
There is a certain kind of furniture-type brush… we have one at our house. I think you’ll be able to find it at a farm-type store or pet store. I has a fabric on it that picks up the hair when you run it across any sort of fabric or furniture. Here is an example…

Try using a damp rag or sponge and running it over the furniture. The hair will come off in big clumps that you can shake into the trash and then keep wiping until everything’s less fuzzy. I have pretty much come to accept that cat hair is the norm in my home and just live with it, but if guests are coming over I give everything a good damp rag wipe-down so they don’t have to deal with it. I might try a product like the Furminator or ShedEnder someday, but this works fine until then. good luck
On my vacuum, it has an attachment which is specifically made for using on couches, furniture to remove cat fur, i also use it on my cat tree. If you have a regular vacuum, check it to see if it has any attachments (some have bristled parts). A hand held vacuum as well as some of the suggestions that have already been said (deshedding brush).
I have had to change my cats diet recently also to wet food and portion control, as she sheds so much and i realized it was her diet, it was not balanced. She’s shedding less and is less oily.
Use the brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner hose to get the hair off the furniture. That’s what I do. Brushing your cats with a slicker brush will remove loose hair. See the link below for an example.
you can shave its hair off
lol – why do u think they call it fur–niture.
Cats shed. I learned to live with it.
But I do brush mine daily. They like it and it’s bonding time.
I use a lint brush (not the sticky papers) but an actual brush. It comes off my furniture, my work uniform, and my car seats. You can wash the brush after every so many uses.
Believe it or not, some cats will actually tolerate being vacuumed gently, and a few even consider it a treat! Vacuflo makes pet vacuuming attachments for central vacuums. Pets seem to tolerate these because of the low noise level of central vacs and is less alarming to their sensitive ears.
