Cats do NOT like the smell of citrus or moth balls.

Although it’s very natural for the cats to want to go there (as it’s very similar to their litter box), you may be able to keep it out of that area if you put moth balls or orange/lemon peels in the area.

I know it’s very frustrating when cats use your garden for their "business", but this should help with your problem.

Good luck!

Don’t hate the cat! That’s just a big old sturdy
litter box to them. Nature at it’s best!

no you cant stop cats and dogs from doing there business where ever they feel free to do it,,plus if you put down gravel,to a cat its a very large litter tray , especially for cats that have been trained to use the litter tray, and least they are covering it up,

I take it their not your cats doing this. We stopped our cats from pooping on our gravel driveway by putting mulched up eucalyptus trees and leaves in an area where it is OK for them to poop. I think it was the fact that the mulch was loose and easy for them dig in and cover that attracted by cats. Try some kind of mulch, hope it helps. Good Luck.

it may not look as nice but you can lay chicken wire down over. it helps because the cats dont like the felling of it. also i have heard that if you get mulch that is more wood than dirt then they wont go in that, yet again because they dont like how it feels. hope i helped and good luck!
